Amy: Oh! I should probably turn off the oven, huh?
Me: Y'know, they should make it so the rack mounts have weight sensors, and if they don't detect any weight for a set amount of time, the oven shuts itself off.
Amy: But what about preheating?
Me: It wouldn't activate in Preheat Mode. Just Bake.
Nick: Yeah, those are all great ideas! Or how about this: you guys could try turning off the oven when you're done with it.

With Tweetie for Mac, the desktop companion to his highly successful iPhone Twitter client, Loren Brichter has created one of the most pleasant-to-use applications I’ve ever experienced — right up there with Panic’s Coda. If you’re a Mac/iPhone owner and find yourself using Twitter with any frequency, you owe it to yourself to try one or both of these out.
Galactic Mail
This little video — though I think it has some rough spots towards the end — is incredibly inspiring. Aside from some great physical animation, I love the illustrative aesthetic. Amazing work.
Starting Over. Again.
As you may have noticed, things look a little different around here. That’s because I’ve not only revamped the design of marshallbock.com, but I’ve completely rewritten the source code, as well. Hopefully, these changes will make the site both easier to use and more aesthetically homogeneous across different browsers.
Not everything’s entirely finished, however....
