Starting Over. Again.
As you may have noticed, things look a little different around here. That’s because I’ve not only revamped the design of marshallbock.com, but I’ve completely rewritten the source code, as well. Hopefully, these changes will make the site both easier to use and more aesthetically homogeneous across different browsers.
Not everything’s entirely finished, however. There’s still quite a lot of work to do (namely, completing About, Theatre, and Links), but the core functionality of this new blog and the Gallery are up and running pretty well. Look for those additions in the near future.
Additionally, I plan on using this blog differently than in the past. Previously, posts merely consisted of explanations of new art being added to the gallery. Moving forward, I’d like to expand my posts to include links, videos, images, and quotes (which Tumblr handles superbly) that I feel warrant sharing here, whether they’re found elsewhere or created by me personally. This might muddy the waters a bit, but ultimately, I think it’ll give this blog more reason for existing — as well as give me an outlet to record the ideas I think are worth recording, for myself and for others — whether or not anyone else is listening.
